When you think about music from the Land Down Under one band evidently jumps out of the pack, the late Michael Hutchence’s INXS. However, Everclear having been M.I.A. for many years and Jet seemingly being forgotten as rapidly as they had arrived, a void was left to be filled. In Yours Truly’s opinion, the gap’s no longer existant thanks to bands like the ever so eclectic Empire Of The Sun and this week’s OOTW, Howling Bells! They sound a bit like The Kills on narcoleptics and we love it!
Even though they have released an album this year called Radio Days, we chose to showcase a song off their amazing self-tilted first album. Without further gilding the lily, here are Howling Bells with Low Happening.
